Karnataka's highest civilian award the 'Karnataka Ratna' was conferred posthumously on late actor Puneeth Rajkumar , on the occasion of the 67th Kannada Rajyotsava (the state formation day). He is the 9th recipient of this prestigious honour.
The Karnataka Ratna award consists a full silver plaque and a 50-gram gold medal.
Karnataka Ratna was last awarded to Dr. Virendra Heggade for social service in 2009.

Export-Import Bank of India (India Exim Bank) has concluded a Master Risk Participation Agreement for supporting trade transactions with FirstRand Bank (FRB) Limited. The agreement was signed in Johannesburg on the sidelines of the India - Southern Africa Regional Conclave.
The agreement has been signed under India Exim Bank’s Trade Assistance Programme.

UPI transactions in India surged 7.7 per cent to 730 crore and the total value stood at more than Rs 12.11 lakh crore in October from 678 crore worth Rs 11.16 lakh crore in September.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) issued a pertaining to the standardization of rating scales used by credit rating agencies(CRAs).
The circular will come into effect on 1 January 2023. CRAs will then have to report to SEBI their compliance with norms as ratified by their boards of directors within one quarter from date of applicability.
Credit rating agencies(CRAs) in India are regulated by SEBI.
The gross GST revenue collected in the month of October 2022 was at ₹1,51,718 crore, the second highest monthly collection ever, next only to the collection in April 2022. Out of total collections, Central GST is Rs 26,039 crore, State GST is Rs 33,396 crore, Integrated GST is Rs 81,778 crore (including Rs 37,297 crore collected on import of goods).
GST came into effect from 1st July 2017 in India.
