Stéphanie Frappart to make history as the first woman to referee a men's World Cup match

Alongside assistants Neuza Back from Brazil and Karen Diaz from Mexico, the Frenchwoman Frappart will form part of an all-female refereeing trio officiating Costa Rica vs. Germany in their Group E match.

In 2019, she became the first female referee to take charge of a Ligue 1 match, in August 2019 the first to take charge of a major men's European match.

In 2020, she became the first female to officiate a men's UEFA Champions League match.

All-woman bench to hear pleas involving matrimonial disputes, bail matters in SC

Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud has constituted an all-woman bench comprising Justices Hima Kohli and Bela M Trivedi to hear transfer petitions involving matrimonial disputes and bail matters.

There are three women judges in the top court at present including Justice Kohli, B V Nagarathna, and Trivedi.

MoD organizes interaction with defence industry on corporate jobs for ex-Agniveers

India had received $89.4 billion in remittances in 2021, according to the World Bank, making it the top recipient globally last year.

RBI's modified digital lending norms to come in effect from 1st Dec

SEBI reduces timeline to list debt securities issued on pvt placement basis

SEBI reduced the timeline for listing of debt securities issued on a private placement basis to three days.

Currently, the timeline is four days and the latest move would also expedite the availability of securities for trading by the investors.
