Union govt clears National Green Hydrogen Mission with initial outlay of 19 thousand 744 crore rupees

The Union Cabinet approved the ₹19,744-crore National Green Hydrogen Mission with an objective to become a major exporter in the field and make India a global hub for the production, utilisation, and export of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives. The development will help India, achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2070.

Government approves Central Sector Broadcasting Infrastructure & Network Development Scheme with outlay of over Rs. 2,539 crore

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved scheme worth Rs 2,539.61 cr for Doordarshan and All India Radio, in a boost to public sector broadcasting. The investment, announced under the Central Sector ‘Broadcasting Infrastructure and Network Development (BIND)’ scheme, will be up to 2025-26 and will aim to modernise the two entities run by Prasar Bharati.
