The UAE government launched the ‘Machines Can See 2023’ Summit, one of the international conferences in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the whole region, taking place at the Museum of the Future in Dubai, in partnership between Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office and ‘Machines Can See’ company.

RBI, BIS launch global technology competition ‘G20 TechSprint’

Reserve Bank of India(RBI) and Bank for International Settlements (BIS) have launched G20 TechSprint, a global technology competition. RBI and the BIS Innovation Hub have jointly announced the fourth edition of the G20 TechSprint.

RBI said that the 2023 TechSprint will focus on developing innovative technology solutions for cross-border payments.

21-volume Braille version of Assamese-English dictionary Hemkosh has become the world's largest lexicon.

The authorities of the Guinness World Records handed over a certificate to Jayanta Baruah, the publisher.

The 123-year-old dictionary is the first etymological dictionary of the Assameses.

Kaladan project: India flags off shipment for Sittwe Port in Myanmar

A vessel containing 1,000 metric tonnes of cement was flagged off from the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port in Kolkata to officially kick-start the operation of Sittwe Port in Myanmar.

Karnataka ranked the most ‘innovative’ State by the National Manufacturing Innovation Survey

A survey on the degree of innovation among manufacturing firms found that Karnataka, overall, is the most “innovative” State, followed by Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu (DNH&DD), Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.

Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu had the highest share of innovative firms at 46.18% ,39.10% and 31.90%, respectively.
