Jharkhand government signs pact with TGESPL to set up India's 'first' hydrogen fuel project in Jamshedpur

Jharkhand government inked a pact with TCPL Green Energy Solutions Private Ltd (TGESPL), a joint venture between Tata Motors and Cummins Inc, USA to set up the country's "first" hydrogen fuel project in Jamshedpur.

The capacity of the proposed unit will be over 4,000 hydrogen IC engine/fuel agnostic engine and more than 10,000 battery system.

To set up this project, it would entail an investment of Rs 354.28 crore.

Inland Waterways Authority signs MoU with Numaligarh Refinery for export of petroleum products

Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has signed a MoU with the Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) to use National Waterways-2 (Brahmaputra) and Indo Bangladesh Protocol Route (IBPR) for export of petroleum products to Bangladesh and other south east Asian countries.

The Numaligarh Refinery will set up POL Oil Terminal at Jogighopa Logistics Park with rail connectivity.

AAI and NLCIL signed agreement for operationalisation of TN’s upcoming Neyveli Airport

NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has inked a pact with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to provide communication, navigation, surveillance and air traffic management services at the company’s brownfield Airport in Neyveli.

According to a press release, the airport is being developed under the regional connectivity scheme (RCS), also known as Udan to promote air connectivity.

FDI Equity Inflows Decline 34% to $10.94 Billion in April-June 2023

Foreign direct investment (FDI) into India declined 34 percent to $10.94 billion during April-June 2023-24, dragged by lower inflows in computer hardware and software, telecom, auto, and pharma, according to government data.

During the quarter, FDI equity inflows decreased from major countries including Singapore, Mauritius, the US, UK, and UAE.
