Airbus, a pioneer of the global aerospace industry, and the Vadodara-based Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a holistic partnership that includes development of academic curricula, faculty, industrial experience, training and scholarships, and collaboration with international institutes.

The resolution proclaiming the Day was presented by the State of Qatar and co-sponsored by 62 countries. 9 September 2020 marked the first observation of the day.
RBI has decided to discontinue Incremental Cash Reserve Ratio which was put in place to absorb surplus liquidity following the withdrawal of 2,000 rupees currency notes, in a phased manner beginning 9th September. The measure was intended to absorb the surplus liquidity generated by various factors, including the return of 2,000 rupee notes to the banking system.

RBI has approved the appointment of Dipak Gupta as interim managing director and chief executive officer of Kotak Mahindra Bank for two months, starting from September 2. Kotak is the founder and promoter of the bank and has been the Managing Director & CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (earlier known as Kotak Mahindra Finance Limited) since August 1, 2002.
