LIC amends norms for inclusion of shareholders' directors on its board

State-owned insurer LIC has amended a framework to allow the induction of shareholders' directors on its board.

The corporation would, upon notice of not less than one thousand shareholders or one-tenth of the total number of shareholders, whichever is lower, elect a shareholders' director through a general meeting of such shareholders.

TSI bags ₹200 cr via credit fund

Piramal Alternatives and CDPQ-backed performing credit fund have agreed to extend a ₹200 crore sum to ATM (automated teller machines) operator Transaction Solutions International (India) Pvt Ltd (TSI) in a structured credit transaction.

The capital, raised against convertible securities, will help with TSI’s business expansion initiatives and accelerate its ATM deployment.

Ruturaj Gaikwad has become the fastest Indian to accomplish 4,000 runs in men's T20 cricket.

He achieved the feat in the fourth T20I against Australia at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.

The 26-year-old only needed seven runs to achieve 4,000 runs in the shortest format of the game.

These surveillance system will be installed on 700 kilometres of route passing through forest areas.
