Surat Airport will not only become a gateway for international travelers but also facilitate seamless export-import operations for the thriving diamond and textile - industries.
India’s overall exports (Merchandise and Services combined) in November 2023* is estimated to be USD 62.58 Billion, exhibiting a positive growth of 1.23 per cent over November 2022. Overall imports in November 2023* is estimated to be USD 67.88 Billion, exhibiting a negative growth of (-) 6.16 per cent over November 2022.

University Grant Commission (UGC) has mandated that no foreign higher educational institution (HEI) will offer any programme in India without the prior approval of the commission. The regulations also mandate that the HEls shall not offer programmes under any franchise arrangement and that such programmes shall not be recognised by the UGC.

In a first, the Ministry of Mines directly sanctioned exploration licences to five Notified Private Exploration Agencies (NPEAs) for critical and deep-seated mineral projects. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced that the issue price for the next tranche of Sovereign Gold Bond has been fixed at Rs 6,199 per gram and will open for subscription on December 18 for five days.
The Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Scheme 2023-24 - Series III will be open for subscription during December 1822, 2023.
