A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Ministry of Cooperation, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, NABARD and CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, to enable Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) to provide more than 300 e-services being delivered by Common Service Centres (CSCs),
Including banking, insurance, Aadhar enrolment/ updation, health services, agricultural services, etc. in the rural areas of the country. PACS functioning as CSC will be able to provide various e-services to the citizens through the CSC portal, including the following: Pradhan Mantri Welfare Schemes, Central Government Services, State Government Services,
Financial Inclusion Services, Aadhaar-related services, Agricultural Services, E-Mobility & Smart Products, B2C services, Other Services. There is a provision on the Digital Seva Portal of CSC for booking railway and flight tickets, through which PACS functioning as CSC can extend these services to citizens in rural areas.

Markets regulator Sebi on launched a chatbot, 'SEVA', an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based conversation platform, for investors. The Beta version of chatbot SEVA (Sebi's Virtual Assistant) includes features like citations for generated responses, speech-to-text and text-to-speech functionality for accessibility, and follow-up questions, among others, the regulator.
The chatbot is presently enabled to answer questions relating to general information on the securities market, the latest master circulars, grievance redressal process, etc.

Upon completion of the course, candidates will receive a joint certificate from HDFC Bank and NIIT and would be offered jobs, subject to the terms and conditions of the Program.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has received the 'Global Water Tech Award 2024' in the 'organisation' category for its initiatives in environmental conservation, according to an officials. Global Energy and Environment Foundation (GEEF) presented the honour, recognising DMRC's efforts in water conservation and efficient utilisation of water resources across Delhi.
Its key initiatives include rainwater harvesting pits, sewage treatment plants, and the use of treated effluent for construction, horticulture, and dust suppression at various sites. During its first phase of construction, DMRC rejuvenated the dry Sarpakar Lake in the ridge area using "dewatered water" obtained from one of its construction site near Delhi University.
Currently, dewatered water from Phase-IV construction is being used to rejuvenate Roshanara Bagh Lake, with more than a kilometre of pipeline laid by DMRC to facilitate this, it said. Additionally, treated water from sewage treatment plants meets the water requirements for maintaining horticulture at DMRC premises including staff quarters, depots, and Metro Bhawan.
UltraTech Cement Ltd's board has approved the acquisition of an additional 33% stake in India Cements Ltd from its promoters and associates at Rs 390 per share. The acquisition, valued at an enterprise value (EV) of $121 per tonne, involves an outflow of Rs 1,900 crore and is subject to regulatory approvals.
Shares of UltraTech Cement were trading 0.72% higher on the BSE at Rs 11,763.50, while shares of Indian Cements rose 0.81% to Rs 377.65. Previously, UltraTech Cement acquired a 23% stake in India Cements in June, increasing its total stake to 56% at an EV of $108 per tonne. UltraTech has also made an open offer for an additional 26% equity stake at Rs 390 per share.
According to Emkay Global, this acquisition significantly strengthens UltraTech Cement's market position, with the company's capacity market share in the South expected to more than double to 25% by FY27E. Emkay Global maintains a 'Buy' rating on UltraTech Cement, with a target price of Rs 12,800 per share by June 2025, based on 20 times EV/E.

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) has launched the Electronic Services e-Health Assistance and Tele-consultation (E-SeHAT) module. The E-SeHAT Tele-consultancy would enable ECHS beneficiaries to obtain online Tele-consultation for medical treatment from their homes without visiting the ECHS Polyclinic.
The module aims to provide health care services through safe and structured video-based clinical consultations. The pilot project has been launched today at 12 ECHS Polyclinics including remote locations of Baramulla, Imphal, Churachandpur, Dimapur, and Aizawal.
The 12 ECHS Polyclinics tele-consulted remotely located ECHS beneficiary ex-servicemen before its pan India Roll Out planned in November 2024. The inaugural pilot testing was witnessed by Major General Manoj Natarajan, Managing Director, Central Organisation Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme at Imphal ECHS Polyclinic.
