India's economy will grow at a median rate of 6% during the first quarter of the current financial year ended 30 June, as per FICCI report. It pegged the annual median GDP growth forecast for 2019-20 at 6.9% (6.7% and 7.2%)
As per report economy grew at 8.2% in April-June 2018-19
RBI has decided to transfer 1.76 lakh crore rupees as dividend & surplus reserve to the govt. It includes over Rs 1,23000 cr of surplus for the year 2018-19 & 52,637 crore rupees of excess provisions identified as per revised Economic Capital Framework
