PM Modi inaugurates Redeveloped Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

The redeveloped Rani Kamlapati Railway station, named after brave and fearless Queen Kamalapati of the Gond kingdom, is the first world class railway station in Madhya Pradesh.

The station is also developed as a hub for integrated multi-modal transport.

Historian, Padma Vibhushan Babasaheb Purandare dies at 99 in Pune hospital

Renowned historian and author Babasaheb Purandare passed away in Pune after a brief illness. He was running the 100th year of his age.

Babasaheb was a well-known orator, ballad singer, theatre artist, and history chronicler who inspired the modern-day youth to follow the footsteps of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is chairing the Southern Zonal Council meeting at Tirupati in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.

Southern Zonal Council comprises Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, and Union Territories of Puducherry, Lakshadweep, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Dubai Airshow begins at Al Maktoum International Airport

The biggest-ever Dubai Airshow began at Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai World Central, with more than 1,200 exhibitors taking part in the five-day show. Dubai Airshow is also the largest of its kind since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. The show also features more than 160 of the world’s most advanced aircraft on the ground and in the air.

PM to visit Uttar Pradesh to inaugurate Purvanchal Expressway

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate Purvanchal Expressway at Karwal Kheri in Sultanpur district, Uttar Pradesh.

The Purvanchal Expressway is 341 Km long. It starts from village Chaudsarai, district Lucknow located on Lucknow-Sultanpur road (NH-731) and ends at village Hydaria located on National Highway No. 31, 18 km east of UP-Bihar border.

The expressway is 6-lane wide which can be expanded to 8-lane in future.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address the event marking the first Audit Diwas at CAG office premises, on 16th November,2021.

Audit Diwasis is celebrated to mark the historic origins of the institution of CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India) and the contribution it has made to the governance, transparency and accountability over the past several years.

Jharkhand Foundation Day 2021 : 15th November

November 15 marks the Jharkhand Foundation Day. The beautiful state that is located in the northeastern part of India and is also called ‘The land of forest’ or ‘Bushland’. It was on November 15 in 2000 when the Chotanagpur area was segregated from the southern half of Bihar to give rise to another state named Jharkhand. By doing so, the latter became the 28th Indian state.

Kashi Utsav, a three-day festival is being organised in Varanasi to celebrate the classic heritage and culture of Kashi especially the centuries-old luminaries who are Goswami Tulsidas, Sant Kabir, Sant Raidas, Bhartendu Harishchandra, Munshi Premchand and Shri Jaishankar Prasad.

The programme will be organised at Rudraksh International Cooperation and Convention Centre.
