Pakistan ace Mohammad Rizwan claims the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award, while India’s inspirational captain Harmanpreet Kaur is named the recipient of the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award.

Harmanpreet Kaur becomes India’s first winner of the ICC Women’s Player of the Month thanks to her leading role in her team’s first ODI series victory in England since 1999.

Nobel Prize 2022 in Economics awarded to Ben Bernanke, Douglas Diamond and Philip Dybvig

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the 2022 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel to Ben S. Bernanke, Douglas W. Diamond and Philip H. Dybvig (all 3 from US) "for research on banks and financial crises."

Notably, Bernake has served as the 14th chairman of the US Federal Reserve from 2006 to 2014.
