Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur inaugurates Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships 2023 in Greater Noida

Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur inaugurated the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships 2023 in Greater Noida.

The event is being held in India for the first time.

The international event will see the participation of more than 30 Indian weightlifters, including many Khelo India Athletes.

hooter Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar clinched Gold medal for India on the 2nd day of FISU World University Games in Chengdu, China .

Olympian Tomar, competing in men's 50 meter rifle three positions, secured the top podium by scoring a total of 461.7 points in the final.

With this, India have now a gold, silver and bronze each in shooting.

Foxconn to invest Rs 1,600 crore in Tamil Nadu for component manufacturing

Taiwan’s Foxconn Technology Group, a key supplier to Apple Inc, pledged to invest Rs 1,600 crore to set up a high-end electronics component manufacturing unit in Tamil Nadu’s Kanchipuram district generating jobs for about 6,000 people.
