India – Mozambuque-Tanzania Trilateral (IMT TRILAT 24) exercise concludes at Nacala,  Mozambuque

The second edition of India-Mozambique-Tanzania Trilateral Exercise concluded at Nacala, Mozambique on 28 Mar 24. The week-long exercise underscores the importance of enhanced maritime cooperation and interoperability between the Navies of India, Mozambique, and Tanzania.

INS Tir and Sujata participated in IMT TRILAT 24 from 21 - 28 March 2024.

Combined Index of Eight Core Industries increases by 6.7% (provisional) in Feb 2024 as compared to Index of Feb 2023

The combined Index of Eight Core Industries (ICI) increased by 6.7per cent (provisional) in February 2024 as compared to the Index of February 2023. The production of Coal, Natural Gas, Cement, Steel, Crude Oil, Electricity and Refinery Products recorded positive growth in February 2024.

The ICI measures the combined and individual performance of production of eight core industries viz. Cement, Coal, Crude Oil, Electricity, Fertilizers, Natural Gas, Refinery Products and Steel. The Eight Core Industries comprise 40.27 percent of the weight of items included in the Index of Industrial Production (IIP).

It is published by the Office of the Economic Adviser.

Tata Motors unit join hands with HPCL to set up EV charging stations

The auto major said that its electric mobility unit, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TEPM) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) to set up 5,000 electric vehicle charging stations across India.
