Gurgaon-based ACME Group signed an offtake term sheet for the supply of green ammonia from its project in Odisha to IHI Corporation, a Japanese-integrated heavy industry company. The term sheet covers the supply of 0.4 million metric tons per annum (MMTPA) of green ammonia from Phase 1 of ACME’s Gopalpur on a long-term basis.

Defense ministry inks Rs 1,070 cr contract with Mazagon Dock for 14 FPVs

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) signed a contract with Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDL), Mumbai to acquire 14 Fast Patrol Vessels (FPVs) for the Indian Coast Guard (ICG). The value of the contract is Rs 1,070 crore. These multi-role FPVs will be indigenously designed, developed, and manufactured by MDL under the ‘Buy (Indian-IDDM)’ acquisition category and will be delivered.

HDFC becomes 1st bank to hit 2 crore credit cards milestone

HDFC Bank, India’s largest private sector bank, said it has become the first lender in the country to achieve the milestone of 20 million credit cards in force. The lender forayed into the credit card business in 2001 and hit the 10-million mark in 2017. HDFC Bank is the largest issuer of card issuers in the country, which commands over a fourth of the overall card market.

ICRA revises up bank credit growth estimate to 15% from 13% for FY24

Rating agency ICRA has revised upwards its projection of bank credit growth in FY24 to 14.9-15.3%, estimated at an incremental growth of ₹20.4-20.9 lakh crore, from the earlier projection of 12.8-13% equating to a growth of ₹17.5-17.8 lakh crore.

ONGC receives petroleum ministry nod to form green energy subsidiary

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) said it has received approval from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry for the formation of a subsidiary company for green energy and gas business. The subsidiary will engage in businesses related to green hydrogen, hydrogen blending, renewable energy including solar, wind, and hybrid, bio-fuels and bio-gas business, and LNG.
