What is the exam pattern for SSC CHSL Tier 2 stage?
The SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam 2026 is conducted in two sessions on the same day. Session I includes Section I, Section II and Section III, while Session II consists of the Skill Test/Typing Test. A major change in 2026 is the introduction of separate sectional timers within Tier 2.

- Computer Knowledge Test: 15 minutes
Candidates cannot freely distribute time across the subjects because each section closes automatically after the prescribed duration.
Post-Specific Skill & Typing Tests
Candidates had to appear for the SSC CHSL Skill Test or Typing Test in Tier 2 of the examination. The Skill Test/Typing Test is conducted in Session II and is qualifying in nature.
