The RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria depend mainly on three major factors - nationality, age limit, and educational qualification. Given below are the details:
RRB Group D Nationality
One of the major criteria for applying to the Group D posts is meeting the nationality criteria set by the board. The nationality criteria is given below:
- Candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan.
- Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1st January 1962 and has the intention of settling down permanently here,
- A candidate who is of Indian origin and has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to settle permanently in India.
RRB Group D Educational Qualification
Candidates must also submit proper and authenticated documents of their educational certificates to the board. The eligibility criteria set by the board are as follows:
- Applicants who have completed their class 10 or ITI or possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate by NCVT can apply for the exam.
- Candidates who possess a Course Completed Act Apprentices/ITI for the Level 1 posts are eligible to apply unless specified.
- Those whose final results are still not released can not apply.
- Applicants who have completed a Course Complete Act Apprentices from any particular trade are eligible to apply.

RRB Group D Selection Process 2025
The RRB Group D selection process consists of four major stages. Given below are the details:
- Computer Based Test: This test examines the candidate's skills in subjects like Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness.
