Jyotiba Phule Death Anniversary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) said HDFC Securities has launched its mobile trading app, HDFC SKY on the AWS cloud. With AWS, HDFC Securities is expected to reduce its annual IT infrastructure and management costs by up to 50% as compared to using on-premises infrastructure.

AWS has invested $ 3.7 billion (about Rs 30,900 crore) in India from 2016 to 2022.

RBI adds 19 unauthorized forex trading platforms to Alert List

The Reserve Bank updated the ‘Alert List’ of unauthorized forex trading platforms by adding 19 more entities, including FX SmartBull, Just Markets, and GoDo FX taking the total to 75. The Alert List contains the names of entities, which are neither authorized to deal in forex under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (FEMA) nor to operate electronic trading platforms. Government mandates compressed biogas blending in CNG from FY26

The Government announced the compulsory blending of compressed biogas, which is extracted from municipal and agricultural waste, in natural gas to cut reliance on imports.

Initially, 1 percent of biogas will be blended in gas used in automobiles and household kitchens for cooking from April 2023
