Introduction

My name is Poonam Harisinghani. I am from Bhopal (MP). I have completed my graduation in electronics and communication. And have been preparing for banking exams since 2021.

Preparation Journey

I started my preparation in 2021. I would initially focus on my speed in quant and reasoning. Would solve puzzles daily, do simplification and quadratic equations, etc. And would give around 2-3 pre-mocks every single day. This helped me clear my prelims after a lot of failed attempts. My English was decent already, so I would prepare English from mocks itself. Regarding mains, I completely relied on mains mocks only and kept revising current affairs. Lastly, for the interview, I prepared entirely from youtube. Oliveboard helped a lot through its interview sessions.

Preparation Strategy For Each Subject

English – I would just read the newspaper or my favorite novel or maybe a series. Plus mock tests helped me a lot.

Quant – Focused on scoring topics. For pre, my strategy was to first go for simplification, quadratic, and number series followed by DI. And arithmetic at last. For the main, clarity of concepts is a must.

Reasoning – I practiced a lot of puzzles from mocks. Went from solving easy to tough puzzles. Other miscellaneous topics would get covered through mocks.

General Awareness -Kindly stick to any one (max 2 sources) and keep revising again and again. Make sure you cover banking awareness also.

Interview: Know everything about you, your family, your graduation subject, your state and city, and whatever burning issues are taking place at that time. Brush up on your current affairs. Be confident and calm and you are good to go.
