IBPS Hindi Officer Age Limit 2026

Candidates applying for IBPS Hindi Officer Recruitment 2026 must be at least 23 years old and not more than 30 years old. The age will be calculated as on 1 September 2026. Candidates must have been born between 2 September 1996 and 1 September 2003, both dates inclusive. For determining age, the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or equivalent certificate will be accepted. Requests for any subsequent change in the date of birth will not be accepted.

IBPS Hindi Officer Educational Qualification 2026

Candidates applying for the Hindi Officer post must have a Master’s Degree from a recognised university. The notification specifies four options for the educational qualification. The qualification must be obtained from a University, Institution, or Board recognised/approved by the Government of India. Degrees obtained through the Correspondence, Distance Education, or Open University System will not be accepted.

One year of experience in translation work from English to Hindi and Hindi to English is desirable for the Hindi Officer post. The experience should be related to translating various reports, documents, and letters in a Bank or Financial Institution. The notification specifies this experience as desirable, while candidates must fulfil the educational qualification and other mandatory eligibility conditions.

IBPS Hindi Officer Computer Knowledge

Candidates must have good knowledge of computer operations, particularly MS Office. Hindi Officers will be required to type/create translated text documents in Hindi and English using MS Word and MS Excel.
