Before these exams, I also attempted many exams but couldn’t clear it, like SBI Clerk Mains, BOB PGDBF, NIACL Assistant Mains, IBPS RRB PO Prelims, Canara Bank PGDBF Interview, LIC AAO Mains and SBI PO Interview.

I started my preparation in August-2018. I prepared my exam schedule based on easy and difficult topics. 2. Saurabh’s Section-Wise Preparation Strategy

2.1 Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

I mostly focussed on solving puzzles and syllogism (You can solve them here) within a few minutes without spending much time. To prepare this section I referred to Arihant Previous Year Banking Book.

2.2 Quant Section Preparation Strategy

I used to learn all the square roots, cubes of numbers up to 30 daily for memorizing. And I also learned short tricks for lengthy calculations. (Learn short tricks Vivek Sir in the following video:

2.3 English Section Preparation Strategy

My focus was on the comprehension part. To improve this section, I used to read the newspaper daily, especially the editorial page.

3. Here Are Some Tips For The Aspirants

I preferred self-study because in self-study while studying a particular subject you can emphasize more on topics that are difficult for you rather than wasting time on easy topics.

Moreover, in self-study, you can complete the entire syllabus in a stipulated time comfortably. I attempted 100+ tests to practice more for the exam preparation. Solving as many mock tests as possible helped me gain command over the weaker sections.

For the interview, I watched many videos on Youtube mainly Oliveboard videos on the interview which was conducted by ex-bankers. This helped me to strategize how to answer difficult questions confidently. I advise bank job aspirants to follow this golden rule of practice to achieve success in any exam.

4. How Oliveboard helped Saurabh Achieve His Goal?

Oliveboard test series helped me a lot. On a daily basis, I used to give 3 mock tests of Oliveboard which helped me improve on Speed, Accuracy, and Efficiency. The difficulty level of the mock tests was moderate. I tackled this by avoiding difficult questions or not wasting time on these questions.
