  • Preferential Qualifications –

As per Rule 26 of The Allahabad High Court Officers and Staff (Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 1976, a candidate: – 

  1.  Who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years 

Or

  1.  Who has obtained a ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC)

Shall, on other things being equal, be given preference in direct recruitment to the posts.

  • Age Limit

The minimum age for Direct Recruitment for the post of Review Officer and Assistant Review officer must as mentioned on the official site, is 21 years, and the maximum age is 35 years on 1st July 2021.

Note – Candidates will be allowed only one relaxation if they claim relaxation in more than one category mentioned above. However, that one relaxation will be the one which is more beneficial to them.

  • Physical Fitness 

The Allahabad High Court will not recruit any person unless they have good mental and bodily health. They should be free of any physical defect which can interfere with the performance of their duties efficiently. Before a candidate recruited directly is finally approved for appointment to the Establishment, he must produce a medical certificate of physical fitness from the Chief Medical Officer, or in the absence of that, an equivalent certificate from the concerned Authority, as determined by The Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad.

Allahabad High Court RO ARO Selection Process 

  1. The selection process for Allahabad High Court RO/ARO is based on a Single-Stage Examination which will consist of Two Parts – Part I and Part II.
  2. Every candidate’s Part I and Part II examination shall be conducted simultaneously in a Single Shift with a Gap of 15 minutes.
  3. The level of question paper in every shift will be as per the syllabus prescribed.
  4. Every candidate must appear in all parts of the Examination.
  5. The Part I Multiple Choice Objective Type Test question paper will be available in English and Hindi. 
  6. For Part – II Computer Knowledge Test, the test shall be provided on the computer only in English.

A candidate shall be provided with a text in English of approximately 500 words on a computer which they shall be required to reproduce on the computer in the same format.
