Fake Universities in India

The University Grants Commission (UGC) announced that 20 universities in India are fake. Among them, Delhi has the highest number, with eight such institutions. The UGC discovered that these universities are not authorized to give degrees as per the UGC Act. Any degrees awarded by these universities will not be recognized or considered valid for further education or employment. UGC Secretary, Manish Joshi, made this announcement today.
