IBPS Exam Attempts
For IBPS exams, the number of attempts is unlimited:
- IBPS PO: You can attempt the exam as many times as you wish, provided you are between 20 and 30 years old.
- IBPS Clerk: There is no restriction on the number of attempts, but you must be between 20 and 28 years old.
- IBPS RRB PO: You can take the exam as often as needed, as long as you are between 18 and 30 years old.
How to count number of attempts
When filling out the IBPS RRB 2024 application, count only the number of attempts you made for the specific position you’re applying for. For example, if you’re applying for the RRB Scale I post, only include the times you’ve taken the RRB Scale I exam. Do not include attempts for other posts like RRB Clerk. If you filled out the form for the Prelims but didn’t take the exam, it won’t count as an attempt. Make sure to only include attempts where you actually appeared for the exam.
