Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Recruitment 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Every aspirant needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria. It is advised that the candidates must check the eligibility of Indian Navy Agniveer even before applying.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Notification 2024 – Educational Qualification

Must be qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Notification 2024 – Age Limit

For the Indian navy agniveer SSR recruitment, the age limit requires candidates to be between the age of 17.5 to 21 years. It is expected that candidate should be born between 01 Nov 2003 – 30 Apr 2007, including both the dates.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Notification 2024 – Marital Status

Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrolment as Agniveer in IN. Candidates will have to give a certificate of being ‘unmarried’ at the time of enrolment. Agniveers shall not be permitted to marry during their entire tenure of four years in the IN. A candidate shall be dismissed from service if he/ she marries during his/her tenure or is found to be already married despite giving certificate of being unmarried.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Notification 2024 – Selection Process

There is two stages for selection in Indian Navy Agniveer recruitment 2024.

INET Exam (Navy Entrance Test)
Computer Based Examination, PFT & Medical Test

INET: The first stage is the INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test) which will be conducted as a computer-based online examination. In this stage, candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance and marks obtained in the INET. The shortlisting will be done on a state-wise basis, and the cutoff marks for shortlisting may vary from state to state. The number of vacancies has been allocated state-wise. The allocation of examination centers for the INET (online examination) will be decided by the Indian Navy at its discretion.

Computer Based Examination: The question paper for the examination will be computer-based and consist of 100 questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. The paper will be bilingual, available in both Hindi and English, and will be in an objective multiple-choice format. The difficulty level of the questions will be similar to that of the 10+2 standard. The duration of the examination will be 60 minutes.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Notification 2024 – Exam Pattern

To pass the exam, candidates must pass each section individually as well as achieve an overall passing score. The Indian Navy has the authority to determine the pass marks for each section and the aggregate score. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking.
