RDWSD Karnataka Recruitment 2022 – Notification

KPSC has released the official notification for the recruitment of Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department Junior Engineers and Assistant Engineers. In all, there are 188 and 169 vacancies available respectively. The official RDWSD 2022 Notification is available on the Commission’s official website. KPSC has extended the last date to apply for Assistant Engineer from 30th March 2022 to 18th April 2022. The last date to register for the Junior Engineer recruitment exam is 27th April 2022.

Selection Process 

The recruitment process has the below-given stages:

Process to apply for the RDWSD Karnataka Recruitment 

Step 1: Open the official website

Step 2: Click on New Registration.

Step 4: A registration form appears. Enter the following details:

• Name 
• Date of Birth
• Mobile Number
• Graduation University 
• Year of passing graduation
• Graduation Registration Number
• Email ID
• Category

Step 5: The site will send a Login ID & Password to the registered e-mail ID upon successful registration.

Using this login credential, the candidate must fill out the Application Form. They must pay the application fee online only. Following is the application fee required to be paid online:

• 2A, 2B – Rs. 300/- Rs.35/- 

• 3A and 3 – Rs. 300/- Rs.35/- 
•  Disabled/Category1 – Nil Rs.35/- 
• Ex-Servicemen – Rs. 50/- Rs.35/- 
• Scheduled Caste – Nil Rs.35/- 
• Scheduled Tribes – Nil Rs.35/- 
• General/ Unreserved – Rs. 600/- Rs.35/- 

Eligibility Requirements

Nationality

The candidate must be an Indian citizen. 

Age Limit

• The candidate’s minimum age should be: 18 years
• The candidate’s maximum age should be 35 years

Upper Age Relaxation

• SC (Scheduled Caste): 40 years
• ST (Scheduled Tribes): 40 years 
• Category-2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: 38 Years.
• Category-I: 40 Years.

Educational Qualification

For Junior Engineer- The candidates must hold a B.E. in Civil, diploma or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution.

For Asst. Engineer- The candidates must have a B.E. degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institution.
