Hi I’m Koushik Samanta, banking aspirant. Apart from studying I like to read, watch football.
Koushik Samanta Preparation Journey:
I prepared from books, magazines, free YouTube videos & mock tests.
Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy:
At first I cleared my basics then practiced on it. For DI I focused on my calculation ability. Practiced sectional and high level questions.
Reasoning– Used to practice at least 5 pre level puzzles in a day for pre. Then practiced high level ones for mains. Also gave regular time to miscellaneous topics.
English– Learn basic grammar, read Hindu editorial on daily basis. Focused on improving vocabulary. Gave sectional mocks.
GK/GA – Followed Aditya sir’s GA class on YouTube. Studied from monthly Bolt , gave quizzes on it.
Interview – Prepared from a book on psychology of interview, studied banking awareness, watched oliveboard YouTube classes on interview. Practiced in front of the mirror.
Role of Oliveboard:
Oliveboard was very helpful to me in my weak areas. I followed Aditya sir’s GA class on YouTube and interview classes.
Tips for Other Aspirants:
First , believe in yourself. Divide your tasks into smaller portions. Give regular mocks for evaluation and keep smiling.
