Success Story of Kranti Goswami – Introduction

My name is Kranti Goswami, I belong to Sadulpur Churu, Rajasthan. My father is a street vendor and my mother is a homemaker. I have been preparing for bank examinations since 2018. Recently I have cleared both IBPS PO and Clerk.

Preparation Journey

I was preparing for bank since 2018 but I couldn’t clear a single pre examination for 1.5 year then in 2019. I had cleared my first IBPS PO Pre then IBPS Clerk Pre and then SBI Clerk Pre but I was not able to crack a single Mains among them because I knew how to solve the questions but I didn’t know how to attempt mains exam. I was failing again and again in mains exam by 2 or 3 marks. Then in 2021 I changed my mains strategy,I only gave mains mocks ,quizzes, and practiced so many mains questions . I worked on my loopholes and converted them into my strength. Finally on 1st April 2022, I have cleared both ibps and clerk.

Success Story of Kranti Goswami – Preparation Strategy

• English – For English subject i have prepared some grammar topics and worked on vocab section. I used to practice approx 100 questions of English subject on different topics and also read the Hindustan times newspaper. While reading the editorial, I was revising the Grammar rules and vocabulary, that’s how I prepared for the English section. 

• Quant – As a beginner, I learnt up to 70 square and worked on calculating speed by practicing approx 100 simplification questions. Then I cleared all arithmetic concepts because we cannot clear any exam without clearing concept. Then practiced a lot of questions of pre and mains level. By practicing, I made this subject a strong point for me. 

• Reasoning – Reasoning is an interesting subject but at the same time it also demands a lot of practice. I used to daily solve 100 questions of puzzles and seating arrangement and 20 questions each from other topic . The same strategy I also applied for mains as well. 

• General awareness – I always covered the current affairs on a daily basis and made proper notes. I used to revise the previous 10 days of CA before starting a new day ‘s current affairs . Then I regularly gave the quizzes of CA.

Role of Oliveboard

I purchased the Oliveboard test series but I found it very difficult to solve as a beginner. Then I practiced a lot and then gave another mock on an oliveboard . I found the same pattern and level of questions in the real exam. This helped me a lot in clearing the exam both in pre and mains. The interview batch of Aditya sir worked a lot for me ,it gave me the entire knowledge of Banking Awareness and because of this knowledge I was fearless and confident in the interview. Due of this confidence I performed very well in the interview and got the final selection.

Tips or advice for fellow aspirants

First of all, be confident and work hard. Never disappoint from failures because failures make you stronger . Keep going on and learn from your mistakes and correct them . One day you will be a winner.
