TNPSC Group 1 Answer Key- Calculating Marks, Instructions, Process

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts the Combined Civil Services Examination to fill vacancies for Group 1 services in the state administration. The eligible candidates can apply for the online applications for desired posts through the official website of the commission- www.tnpsc.gov.in. The official Notification for the TNPSC Group 1 exam is expected to be released in February 2022. The preliminary examination is expected to be conducted sometime in September 2022. The recruitment process has three stages- Preliminary examination, main examination, and interview. The candidates must clear the prelims to qualify for the next stage. The commission will release the answer key for the Group 1 examination once the examination process is over. The candidates can evaluate their performance based on the answer key. The candidates should follow the below procedure to access or download the TNPSC Group 1 Answer Key.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Public Service Commission of Tamil Nadu.

Step 2: Go to the results option available on the menu bar. From the drop-down list, select the Answer Key option.

Step 3: Login using your Application Number and Date of birth.

Step 4: Select the examination name: TNPSC Group 1 examination.

Step 5: The answer key will be displayed on the screen.

Calculating Estimated Marks From The TNPSC Group 1 Answer Key

The TNPSC Group 1 Preliminary examination has a multiple-choice (MCQ) paper. All questions carry 1.5 marks each, and negative marking is not applicable. Once the answer key is released, the candidates can use the same to calculate their marks and predict their scores. The candidates should follow the steps given below to calculate their estimated marks.

Step 1: Check your answers with the answer key provided by the commission.

Step 2: Calculate the sum of correct answers.

Step 3: Multiply the sum of correct answers with 1.5. This gives you the total expected marks.

• Mark the answers with a black ball pen.
• Candidates must completely darken the circles
• In the objective type examination, candidates are not required to write the answers
• The question paper will be in the form of a test booklet
• Against each number, there are circles marked as (a), (b), (c) & (d)
• Candidates must write the papers in their own hand.

The Process To Raise An Objection For TNPSC Group 1 Answer Key

Step 2: on the home page, click on the News Notifications.

Step 3: Fill in the required details and log in.

Step 4: Open the link to Raise an Objection.

Step 5: Fee (if any) required to Raise an objection too will be mentioned. Fill in your issue and click on submit.

Revised TNPSC Group 1 Answer Key

After going through the objections and representations made by the candidates, the Public Service Commission of Tamil Nadu releases a Revised TNPSC Group 1 Answer Key on its official website. The candidates should keep checking the website for the Revised answer key to check the revised answers.
