Success Story of Shivam Tomar: Today we present the story of Shivam Tomar, a B.Sc Physics Honours student from Delhi University who successfully cracked SSC CGL 2022 right out of college. Let’s read about his preparation journey and how he reached his goal!

Success Story of Shivam Tomar: Introduction 

Hello, I am Shivam Tomar. I’m a resident of Baraut Town in Uttar Pradesh. I completed my BSc in Physics with Honours in 2020 and have been preparing for SSC CGL since June/July 2020.

Details of Your Preparation Journey

My preparation mainly consisted of a lot of mock tests, a thorough study of the prescribed syllabus, and solving previous years’ questions.

Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy

Quantitative

For quantitative, I took coaching. I combined that with constant practice using mocks and previous years’ questions.

Reasoning: 

For me, the basic practice of questions including Previous Years’ Questions and mock tests was enough.

English: 

English is also easier to crack if you stick to previous years’ questions and mock tests.

GA/GK

I found the previous year’s questions to be sufficient.

How Oliveboard Helped You?

Oliveboard’s mock tests helped me a lot with the practice. The youtube lessons and sessions were a great way to learn and helped in my preparation tremendously.
