UPPSC Eligibility Criteria 2023

The UPPSC has established specific eligibility criteria for candidates aspiring to join various government services in the state. These criteria serve as guidelines to ensure that only eligible and qualified individuals participate in the selection process. UPPSC Eligibility Criteria

UPPSC has a set of criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the candidates in order to be eligible for the examination. We have mentioned below the detailed eligibility criteria for all the candidates.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age Limit: 21 years
  • Upper Age Limit: 40 years

Note: They must have not been born earlier than 2nd July 1983 and not later than July 1, 2002.

Age Relaxation

Reserved categories candidates are provided with the relaxation in upper age limit as per the government rules. We have mentioned below the category-wise age relaxation.

Educational Qualification

We have mentioned below the educational qualification for each post of the UPPSC Recruitment 2023.

4.Law OfficerA Candidate for direct recruitment to the post of Law Officer must possess the following qualifications:(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a University established by law in India. (ii) Registration in the concerned Bar Council or the affiliated Bar Association recognized by the Bar Council of India and two years of practice experience certificates issued/Certified by the Bar Council/Bar Association.
5.Technical Assistant (Geology)Essential Qualification:
(I) A master’s degree with at least 50 percent marks in Geology or Applied Geology or a Diploma in Applied Geology from the Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad.
(ii) Preferential:- Research experience or field training conducted by the Geological Survey of India.
6.Technical Assistant (Geophysics)Postgraduate degree with at least 50 percent marks in Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geology, or applied Geology (with physics, Mathematics at the B.Sc. level) from a university established by law in India.
7. Tax Assessment OfficerBachelor’s degree in Commerce or Economics with 55% marks.

Physical Measurement

Physical Measurement is applicable only to the few posts of the Police Force. We have mentioned below the physical measurement for each post separately.

For the Post of D.S.P
