NICL AO Zone-Wise Interview Details and Venues

NICL has divided the interview process zone-wise to ensure convenience and smooth coordination for candidates from different parts of India. The interviews will be held across four regional centers — North, South, East, and West zones. Each zone has a dedicated interview venue, as mentioned below:

NICL AO Interview Call Letter

NICL has confirmed that the individual call letters for the shortlisted candidates will soon be made available on its official website. Candidates are advised to keep checking the Recruitment Section of the NICL portal regularly for updates.

The call letter will contain key details such as candidate’s name, roll number, interview venue, date, reporting time, and instructions. Only those who have been provisionally shortlisted will be able to download the call letter by logging in using their registration credentials.

Provisional Shortlisting and Document Verification

The company has clarified that the admission to the interview is purely provisional. Receiving a call letter does not automatically confirm final eligibility or selection. Verification of eligibility criteria such as age, educational qualification, and reservation category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) will be carried out at the time of the interview based on original documents.

They must also carry original certificates and photocopies of their educational qualifications, identity proof, caste/category certificates (if applicable), and any other relevant documents specified in the call letter.

Travel Reimbursement for Outstation Candidates

To support candidates traveling from distant locations, NICL has announced that outstation candidates will be reimbursed for to-and-fro Sleeper Class railway or bus fare by the shortest route from their place of residence to the interview venue.

Candidates must produce valid travel tickets or receipts as proof of travel to claim reimbursement. This measure aims to ensure that candidates from all parts of the country can participate in the interview without facing financial constraints.

NICL has emphasized that appearing for the interview does not guarantee selection. The final appointment will depend upon the candidate’s performance in the interview and successful verification of documents.
