APPSC Recruitment 2022 Selection Process

 The selection process has three stages. The stages are given below:

  • Stage 1- APPSC Preliminary Examination: The first stage is the preliminary examination. It has two papers- General Studies and Aptitude Test. If the candidate passes the examination, he/ she will be eligible to take the Mains examination.
  • Stage 2- APPSC Mains Examination: The second stage is the Mains examination. In this examination, the candidates appear for 7 papers of which 2 papers are qualifying in nature- language papers- English and Telugu. The shortlisted candidates are selected for the interview round (the last stage of the selection process).
  • Stage 3- APPSC Interview: The last stage of the selection process is the interview round. If the candidate clears the interview, he/ she will undergo a few months of training before working full term.

APPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern

The APPSC Preliminary examination is divided into two papers: General Studies and General Aptitude. Each paper has 120 questions. Each question carries 1 mark. Negative marking is applicable.

  • The admit card will be released by the commission 7 days before the examination.
