DSSSB Exam Pattern

DSSSB Recruitment exam mainly consists of 2 stages, i.e., Tier-I and Tier-II,  where a skill test follows the Tier-II exam. However, Tier-I is only mandatory for most of the posts, and the Tier-II exam is held only for a few posts.

There are 2 sections for both the Tiers, SECTION A and SECTION B. For Section A the Objective Questions are based on these 5 subjects, i.e., English, Hindi, General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Airthematic and Numerical Ability.

There is no specific subject for Section B. The candidates select their main subject or the subject they want for teaching and accordingly it is different for all the candidates. A tier-I level exam is mainly a selection level exam. Every correct answer gets 1 mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every negative answer.
