Note: Candidates applying for age relaxation are required to submit their caste certificates.
Number Of Attempts
The Board has not set any restrictions on the number of attempts by a candidate. Candidates can apply as many times as they want as long as they fulfil the age criteria.
Experience
The Indian Navy Tradesman post does not require any kind of experience. Interested candidates who are freshers too can also apply for the post.
Physical and Medical Requirements for a Navy Tradesman
The candidates should be physically and medically fit as they will be evaluated according to the Indian Navy’s physical fitness and medical standards.
The two main components of the physical standards are:
- waist-to-hip ratio
- weight-to-height ratio
The ICC for male candidates should be 0.9, and for female candidates, it should be 0.8. In case ICC is higher than the permissible limit, the candidate will be declared unfit.
