NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2024 – Seats

Under the NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2024-25, there are a total of 40 seats available. Of these, 35 seats are designated for Regional Offices/TEs, while 5 seats are reserved for the Head Office. Each Regional Office/TE will receive only one seat allocation for the scheme. NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2024 – Eligibility

Students pursuing post-graduate degrees (having completed their first year) in Agriculture and allied disciplines (such as Veterinary, Fisheries, etc.), Agribusiness, Economics, Social Sciences, and Management from reputable institutes/universities, or students completing their fourth year of a 5-year integrated course, are eligible. Indian students studying abroad can also apply for SIS 2024-25.
Students applying for internships in a specific state must either be studying in that state or belong to it as permanent residents.
However, seats at the Head Office in Mumbai are open to applications from students across the country

Graduation in Agriculture and related fields (Horticulture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine)	Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is required.
Agribusiness, Economics, Social Sciences, Management	Bachelor’s degree in the respective fields is mandatory.
Integrated 5-year course	Candidates enrolled in a 5-year integrated course must have completed their fourth year to be eligible.
Region Specific Applicants	Must have completed their degree in the respective state or hold permanent residency in that particular state.

NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2024 – Selection Process

We will shortlist applicants for the scheme based on a weighted score system, considering their performance in 10th, 12th, and graduation exams.
The interview performance will solely determine the final selection of students for the internship scheme.

NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2024 – Stipend

The breakdown of expenses includes providing a monthly stipend of Rs. 18,000 for a duration ranging from 8 to 12 weeks. Field visit allowances, varying by location, are provided for a maximum of 30 days, with travel expenses reimbursed at a maximum of Rs. 6,000 per head for trips from headquarters to the field and back, contingent upon valid proof submission. Miscellaneous expenses are covered up to Rs. 2,000 per head, based on declarations
