NHB Senior Horticulture Officer Selection Process

The examination consists of two stages. In Stage-I, which is of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type, candidates have 2 hours to answer 150 questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. There is no negative marking. Stage-II, a Descriptive Type test, is only for those who qualify Stage-I. It also lasts 2 hours but has a maximum of 100 marks. The total marks for both stages combined are 250. Shortlisting for Stage-II is in a 1:10 ratio, and scores across sessions are equated if the exam is held in multiple sessions. The total marks obtained in Stage-II determine the final merit.
