Banking	Impact of the Banking and Financial Services Government Policy and Regulation; Measurement and assessment of banks’ performance, prudential standards, asset-liability management, investment portfolio management, and bank liquidity positions, liquidity and reserve management, the management and price depositing services, the provision of loans to companies and consumers, Credit Management, Advanced Money, Banking and Co-operative Law, Risk management, Balance sheet management, International Banking, Treasury Management, Economic analytics, business mathematical, human resource management.

Aptitudes Quantitative	This portion examines the candidate’s quantitative and mathematical abilities. The following categories of questions asked in the entrance test- Systemic numbers, simplification, profit & loss, numerical fractions, time and distance, ratio and proportion, simple/compound interest, mensuration, algebra and data interpretation are unitary methods, time and work, HCF AND LCM.
General  Awareness	The candidate tests their world-consciousness in this section. Mainly in the following categories, questions are asked: Current Affairs (National and International) (National and International), Major financial/economic news, budget and five-year plans, Who’s Who, sports, economy and geography with special reference to Punjab, prize and honour, science – discoveries and inventions, abridges, history of Punjab, international and national organisations, history and culture. English	Candidates are assessed in this area on English grammar’s language ability and knowledge. Mainly from the following categories, questions are asked: Fixed Error, Tenses, Rearrangement of the sentence, Complete the blanks with the model, articles, etc., Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Comprehension.
Computer and information technology applications	Questions from topics such as computing basics such as WINDOWS OS/DOS are included in the technical section. Office applications, RDBMS – Oracle etc., questions will also be taken into account. Selected candidates will receive monthly fixed emoluments during three years of probate, on the basis of the rules of the bank; the selected ones will not include a graded payment, yearly increase or any other allowance, except for travel allowances as per entitlement to the post held by such employee.
