Rajasthan Police SI Salary and Job Description – Salary Structure

The salary of the Rajasthan Police Sub Inspector depends on the experience of the candidate. The pay scale ranges from Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800. The SI also gets a grade pay of Rs 4,200. The approx salary of a SI is Rs 35,400. The maximum salary for an SI position is Rs 1,12,400. 10% is deducted from salary, which goes to Provident Fund.

SI Job Description and Hierarchy

A Sub Inspector is usually assigned the role of the first investigator.  At this level, the Sub Inspector may have a few police personnel reporting to him. 

Selection Process

There are three stages involved in the selection procedure.

1. Stage 1 includes a written test
2. Stage 2 includes physical and medical test
3. Stage 3 includes an interview 

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit

Candidates between the ages of 20 and 25 years can apply for the posts. Age relaxation is applied for the following category of candidates:
