Criteria To Pass In REET

At present the candidates are required to score a minimum of 60% from the general or the unreserved category, ST categories from the TSP group need to score 55% while the TSP group needs to score 36%. 55% required for the SC, OBC, EWS, and MBC category candidates. This percentage shall be substituted with a lower percentage with the new rule in place. The candidate shall be awarded a REET eligibility certificate after duly qualifying for the exams.

After the assessment of the answer sheets and award of marks the status of whether the candidate has qualified or not is known after the marks are compared with the category’s REET cutoff marks. The marks obtained and the status of having qualified for the exam are indicated in the result itself.
