SSC has released the answer key for the SSC CPO Exam conducted from the 9th to the 11th of November 2022. This is the tentative answer key and SSC will later release the final answer key. Candidates can find out how to download the answer key and use it in this blog.

What is the SSC CPO Answer Key?

SSC has released the answer key for the CPO provides the examinees with the correct responses to the questions in SSC CPO 2022. The Commission releases this answer key for the convenience of the students. This way they can cross-check their performance on the exam and have an idea of whether they will clear or not. The Commission releases this answer key on its official website. Candidates can log in to their website using their credentials and can download the answer key as a PDF.

How to Use the SSC CPO 2022 Answer Key to Calculate your Score?

You can follow the below-mentioned process to calculate the marks you would have scored in the written examination.  Please remember that the examination is for a total of 100 marks.  There are 100 questions in the written examination, and this means that each question carries 1 mark. So, to calculate your score: 

• You need to add 1 mark for each question that you have answered correctly. 
• You need to deduct or subtract 0.25 (one-fourth) marks for each question you answered incorrectly.
• Take the marks you get at the end of this exercise as the marks you have scored in your written examination.

SSC CPO 2022 Answer Key: Tentative and Final

The Staff Selection Commission offers a facility of allowing the candidates to challenge the SSC CPO tentative Answer Key.  The Notification of the SSC CPO states that the Commission will release the answer key for SSC CPO on its official website. This will happen only after the exam process is over. It will be available for all candidates to see.  Candidates can go through the answers, and if they have any representations, they can make them online. The SSC will specify a time limit for making the representation. There will also be a fee of Rs. 100.00 for each question. The candidates can send their representations only through the website. SSC will not entertain representations sent in via any other means.

The Board will look at all the representations they receive for the Answer key and take decisions subsequently.

It has to be clearly understood that as regards the Tentative Answer Key, that it is challengeable. Students can submit representations to the commission if they feel there are any discrepancies in the given answers. 

After the representations have been scrutinized and decisions are taken, the Commission’s finalized Answer Key will be published. 

The result of the SSC CPO will not be declared based on the tentative key.  For declaring the result, the SSC will use the finalized answer key. 

How to Post your Representation for the Tentative Answer Key 

Since there is a provision for filing representation for any of the questions in the Tentative Answer Key posted by SSC for the SSC CPO examination, you should know the procedure for doing so. If a candidate feels that the answer specified in the Tentative Answer Key for any question is not correct, the candidate can file a representation. The candidate has to file this online on the Commission’s website in a format that the Commission has specified. Candidates will also have to pay an online payment of Rs.100.00 for each question. 

Here are the steps for filing the representation on the answers in the Tentative Answer Key.

1: Visit Staff Selection Commission’s official website.

2: On the Home Page, click on the link for The Answer Key notification for the SSC CPO Constable examination.

3: Provide the user ID and password as given on your Admit Card.

4: Click the Login button.

5: Click the tab for filing representation. 

6: Fill out the form for the representation as required. 

7: You will need to make a payment of Rs. 100.00 for each question that you are challenging. The payment has to be made online.
