Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct Computer Based Examination (CBE) the recruitment of Constable (GD) 25271 vacancies in Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal & Secretariat Security Force, and Rifleman in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

Computer-Based Examinations, Physical Efficiency Tests, Physical Standard Tests, and Detailed Medical Examinations will be involved in the SSC GD Constable 2021 Recruitment Process. The preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted from 16 Nov- 15 Dec 2021.

The practice of SSC GD Constable 2021 Prelims Previous Year Papers can help candidates in understanding the exam pattern.  There will be one objective in the computer-based test containing 100 questions for 100 marks, with the following composition:

Note: A total of 90 minutes will be allocated for this exam.

All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The computer-based examination will be conducted in English/Hindi only. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. To determine the final merit and cut-off marks for the Computer Based Examination, the normalized scores, along with the bonus marks for holders of NCC Certificates, will be calculated using the Commission’s published formula. The questions in the Computer Based Examination will be of 10th level. The Commission will shortlist candidates for PET/PST based on their performance in CBE. Candidates will be assigned CAPFs/ Organizations based on their performance in the Computer-Based Examination (including NCC bonus marks) along with their preferences expressed in their online applications.
