SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

Before moving on to the preparation strategy it is very important for the candidates to learn about the exam pattern. SSC CGL Tier-2 exam pattern consists of four papers:

Paper 1 – Quantitative ability

Paper 2- English Language and Comprehension

Paper 3 – Statistics

Paper 4 – General Studies (Finance and Economics) 

Of the 4 papers, Paper 1 and 2 are mandatory for all the SSC CGL aspirants, while Paper 3 and 4 are optional. Paper 3 is opted by the candidates who have applied for the post of JSO ( Junior Statistical Officer) and Paper 4 is for candidates who have applied for the post of AAO (Assistant Account Officer and Assistant Audit Officer)
