Success Story of Debadatta Debroy

Introduction

Hey, I am Debadatta Debroy and I have recently cleared the IBPS Clerk examination. 

Brief Description

I started my preparation in 2020. After knowing the syllabus I started practising chapter wise then I started appearing for mock tests from Oliveboard. While preparing for Oliveboard I gave mock tests daily and for mains, it was on alternate days. After the mock, I always did a thorough analysis of the paper. And for GA I studied the Oliveboard’s BOLT.

Preparation Strategy

i. GA – I studied the monthly BOLT and the newspaper if I had time. Though it’s not mandatory.

ii. Reasoning – I gave sectional tests and solved questions from Disha publication books.

iii. Quants – for quants I solved sectional tests and also previous years’ questions.

iv. English – for English the full mock tests were enough as I already had a good grip on the subject. For further help, I would suggest topic-wise videos from YouTube or classes from Oliveboard.

Role of Oliveboard

It provided me with the best interface which was very similar to the real exam. Also, the level of questions was similar to the actual exam.

Tips or advice for fellow aspirants

Research the type for questions well. Give daily mock tests for prelims and alternate for mains. Analyze the tests well and revise GA as many times as possible. All the best!
