Success Story of Deepak Kumar Jena – Cleared IBPS CLERK 2018

Hello everyone, my name is Deepak Kumar Jena and I am from Jaipur, Odisha .I am selected as IBPS CLERK this year. First of all I will convey my gratitude to my family members, teachers and friends who stood by me through tough times and motivated me and energized my soul with positivity. Today I would like to share my journey from a student to a banker.

I graduated B.com from N.C.(Autonomous) college,Jajpur with Accounting honours in 2015. Government job is not what you get in few weeks or few months,  it takes immense hard work, regular practice and most important of all Patience. You might pass through tough times and continuity of failures but what matters is how patiently you kept on practicing.

I passed my graduation B.com in 2015 and was almost blank about government jobs. I joined a private company after completing graduation but soon I realized that I was not getting job satisfaction which lead me to preparation for government jobs. It was getting difficult for me to prepare for this exam along with the job, so I decided to leave my job and devote my complete time in preparation .I joined a coaching Institute in Jajpur (ODISHA) and for more than a year I got numbers of failure but I never left my hope and kept on my hard work.

From Feb’ 2017 I continuously followed  OLIVEBOARD app and as you know this is a very good platform to prepare. Its contents are very good and up to date and I think by continuously following it one can easily clear Banking exam.I suggest all the readers to follow OLIVEBOARD app and good quality books. Try and start from a low level and then go to the higher level.

IBPS RRB PO 2017– Prelims not qualified

IBPS CLERK 2017– Prelims not qualified

IBPS PO 2017– Prelims not qualified

CANARA BANK PO 2017– Not qualified

IDBI Executive 2017– Not qualified

NIACL Assistant 2018– Prelims Not qualified by 0.5 marks

SBI CLERK 2018– Prelims qualified but Mains not qualified

SBI PO 2018– Prelims not qualified by 2.75 marks

IBPS RRB PO 2018– Prelims qualified but Mains not qualified by 9 marks

IBPS RRB CLERK 2018– Prelims qualified but Mains not qualified in one section

IBPS PO 2018– Prelims not qualified by 1.75 Marks

IBPS CLERK 2018– Prelims qualified and mains also qualified and selected in PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK.

My message here is never ever get afraid of your failures, accept them with wide hands because they are the ones which will lay a foundation for your success.Make a list of mistakes which you made in previous paper and make sure don’t repeat them in upcoming exams.

Here are my tips for preparation in bank exams :- First of all you clear your basic then improve your speed of mathematics calculation by trick. Always stay in touch with reasoning (especially puzzles) and develop a technique to solve each question in least possible time. I am very poor in English I suggest you for English know some grammar rules, vocab and most important thing is that make your reading comprehension skill better.
