Success Story of Shivam Tomar: Introduction 

Hello, I am Shivam Tomar. I’m a resident of Baraut Town in Uttar Pradesh. I completed my BSc in Physics with Honours in 2020 and have been preparing for SSC CGL since June/July 2020.

Details of Your Preparation Journey

My preparation mainly consisted of a lot of mock tests, a thorough study of the prescribed syllabus, and solving previous years’ questions.

Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy

Quantitative

For quantitative, I took coaching. I combined that with constant practice using mocks and previous years’ questions.

Reasoning: 

For me, the basic practice of questions including Previous Years’ Questions and mock tests was enough.

English: 

English is also easier to crack if you stick to previous years’ questions and mock tests.

GA/GK

I found the previous year’s questions to be sufficient.

How Oliveboard Helped You?

Oliveboard’s mock tests helped me a lot with the practice. The youtube lessons and sessions were a great way to learn and helped in my preparation tremendously.
