Inspiring Success Story of Sujoy Ghosal

I belong to the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. I have done my schooling from Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission and further completed my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication engineering. 

Brief Background

After missing the final list by a close margin in SBI PO 2020, I prepared this time with full-fledged effort. Clearing SBI JA and RRB PO prior to the SBI PO Mains exam was a major confidence booster. 

I used to provide Maths tuition daily. That was an added advantage but lesser time to prepare. Though it worked successfully.

Preparation Strategy

i. English – Reading articles and newspapers is mandatory. This also helps in all other sections to realize the hidden meaning, especially in puzzles and DIs.

ii. Quant – Mock Test DIs were my only source for quants

iii. Reasoning – I used to solve plenty of puzzles available as free material on YouTube.

Role of Oliveboard

Oliveboard MAINS mock tests and free YouTube sessions/ materials/ Topic-specific sessions were extremely helpful. My mains score of 138 reflects that clinically.

Faculty Feedback

They all are the Master of their art. Though,  I would like to mention Harshita Maam and Aditya Sir specifically.

Tips or advice for the fellow aspirants

Never ever lose hope. Have faith, patience, and confidence in yourself. Build your own strategy in this April to June gap.

Pro tip: Before entering the exam hall, boosting yourself is much needed.
