Inspiring Success Story of Vishnu

Hello, I’m Vishnu from Thiruvananthapuram. I have cleared 2 exams, IBPS-IX specialist officer (I.T) and Probationary Officer.  First I’d like to thank my family, teachers, mentors, friends, and OLIVEBOARD for guiding and supporting me throughout the journey. I completed my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology, Nalanchira.

I had my fair share of failing for exams but still, I managed to secure a job during my campus placement. Being an active member in college technical fests and competitions gave me a lot of exposure to a wide variety of experiences. After college, I started working as a Java developer and while doing so I also started preparing for bank exams. After a few days, I quit my job to fully prepare for these exams. Once I did that I really started liking the learning process and I kept writing exams just for the fun as it seemed to be challenging. Yet I kept improving each time I gave any exam.

Wrote more than 40 exams including prelims and mains.

I started preparing in April 2019 and cleared the exam for the post that I wanted to join in April 2020. 

LIC ADO cleared but chose not to join.

IBPS PO-IX cleared and provisionally allotted to Bank of India

IBPS SO(IT)-IX cleared and provisionally allotted to Bank of India

Now document verification is completed and I am waiting to join as a Specialist Officer(I.T.) at Bank of India.

• At first, I used to attend the free tests from Oliveboard, after a while I understood Oliveboard was the best that I could get, and I also bought the IBPS PO cracker which helped a lot with the basics. The mock tests, feedback, doubt clearing sessions, LPS, etc all helped me gain a strong base. 
• I was a bit weak in quants but I managed to make up for that in English and Reasoning. English sessions were particularly helpful. Again I bought a test pass that allowed me to attend more tests. The faculty is also very helpful and always responded to my emails and the technical support staff always responded to my queries quickly. 
• After continuous preparation and hard work and combined studies with friends and watching lessons from Oliveboard, I started cracking prelims and also mains.

Role of Oliveboard In Cracking The Exam

I used OLIVEBOARD mains exam questions to prepare. I had also bought the IBPS PO cracker which helped me a lot. I used to give a lot of mock tests with Oliveboard and with each test I used to see how I could have improved. The standard of the mock tests helped me to improve a lot. I also watched the classes from the course which taught me how to solve questions quickly. 

Another aspect of Oliveboard that I liked was the fact that I had a really fun challenging time learning, and the website user-interface also feels very comfortable and easy to use.”
