UPSSSC PET Exam Date Deferred | 24th August New Exam Date

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced the UPSSSC PET Exam Date for the Preliminary Eligibility Test on the official website as of 20th August 2021 and now it has been postponed and will be conducted on 24th August 2021 (the new exam date) in two shifts. Candidates who have applied for the exam in May and June are eligible for the exam. UPSSSC PET exams are conducted for the recruitment of Group B and Group C posts. A total of around 20 lakh candidates have applied for the UPSSSC PET exam 2021.

The online application process has begun from 25th May 2021 till 21 st June 2021. The exam was scheduled to be conducted on 20th August 2021 and now it will be conducted on 24th August 2021 (new exam date), and the admit card shall be issued 14 days before the exam.

Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the UPSSSC PET exam is based on a multiple-choice question with negative marking for every question answered wrongly. A total of 100 questions are asked, for which the duration is of 2 hours. The papers’ difficulty ranges from 1 to 9 as per the NCERT Secondary/ Senior Secondary level.

 The UPSSSC PET exam is MCQ based exam with a ¼ negative marking; that is to say, with every wrong answer, ¼ marks will be deducted. For every right response, the candidates are awarded 1 mark.
