The APPSC Group 1 Exam is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission for various posts such as Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Superintendent of Jails, Deputy Collectors, Deputy Superintendent of Police, etc. The exam is conducted in three stages – The Prelims, Mains, and the Interview stage. Relaxation Of The Age Limit

The age relaxation is the same for each group and post, as shown below.

Group I Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for group I positions are outlined here.

For Postal Codes 03 to 05	General	Height Requirement: 167.6 cm Chest criteria: A minimum chest expansion of 5 cm is required, as is a minimum of 86.3 cm around the chest.
For Postal Codes 03 to 05	S.T.	Height Requirement: 164 cm Chest criteria: A minimum chest expansion of 5 cm is required, as is a minimum of 83.8 cm around the chest.
For Postal Code 03	Women	152.5 cm is the minimum height Weight: at least 45.5 kg.
For Postal Code 08	Men	Height Requirement: 165 cm Chest criteria: A minimum chest expansion of 5 cm is required, as well as a minimum circumference of 86 cm around the chest.

Note: All applicants will undergo two eye examinations to determine whether or not they have any abnormalities in their eyes.

Eye Vision

• When tested by any movement, each eye must have a full field of vision.
• Candidates with a squint or any other morbid condition of the eyes or the eyelids of either eye may be rejected.
• Each eye is examined separately, and candidates must keep both eyes open during this test.
• If candidates are unable to distinguish the primary colors, they will not be rejected but will be noted and the candidates will be notified.

Education Qualifications

A.P. Fire Service District Fire Officers	Aspirants must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university (Fire). If the applicants do not have a B.E. (Fire) degree, any degree that is equivalent will be considered.
A.P. Treasury & Accounts Service Asst. Treasury Officer/Asst. Accounts Officer	Interested candidates must hold a degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Commerce from a UGC-accredited university with a minimum grade of 2nd class in the subject. Aside from that, candidates may be Chartered Accountants in the United Kingdom or India, or incorporated Accountants (London).
A.P. Social Welfare Service District Social Welfare Officer	Candidates must have received a bachelor’s from an authorized Indian university or from a University Grants Commission-affiliated institution under the State Act or Central Act or Provincial Act. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in social work or sociology are also eligible to apply for this position.
